The thing i love about music is EVERYBODYlistens toit in some form.Whatever warp of life in every corner of of the globe,music can be heard.I ve never met a single person who has told me they don't like music. Mygenre ofmixes are quite broad.Put simply,if i like it,i'll mix it!! Feedback is always welcome.(the good kind is prefered...!!) If you do download a mix it would be cool to know whether its for a party,car,your mp3 or whatever???... I am constantly on the look out for tracks to mix up,recommendations welcome..thank you. My Name is Wayne brooks aka djbrooksie I have been mixing since 1992 when i got my first ever beat match using two copies of a slammin vinyl track called ROUGHER-Ever since then i have been into my music and the rave scene - my first love was mid 90,s Happy Hardcore aka 4 Beat as well as what is known as Oldskool Hardcore 89-90-91-92-93 , My main influences in music are Pianos and vocal which has led me into the paths of Happy Hardcore- Oldskool Hardcore-Happy n Funky house -oldskool House -Scouse House -and UK garage . Shy Cookie Best known for his production work for MOBO Award Winners DJ Luck, MC Neat and Jay Jay, Shy Cookie has been producing hit UK Garage music since 1998 (debuting with a remix of ‘El Paraiso Rico’ - released as a DJ Luck and MC Neat track). After enjoying some success with his debut he was signed to Scott Garcia’s Kronik Records and released the UK Garage hits ‘Troublesome’, ‘Poison’ (produced with DJ Luck), and then ‘Burning’ before moving to Middlerow records in 1999, he was also DJ-ing at events across the UK and Europe including multiple trips to Ayia Napa and two tours of Poland with Middlerow records. After co-producing (programming) two of the four tracks that made up the ‘Warm Up E.P.’ a 4 track promo for an unreleased album featuring Ed Case, Sweetie Irie, Carl H and Spee as well as DJ Luck, MC Neat and Jay Jay, and the single ‘Boom Tune’ for Middlerow/EMI records he went on to co-produce DJ Luck and Neats album ‘It’s all good’, released on Island records in 2002 including the hit ‘Irie’. After working on the album Shy Cookie did some work for various youth organizations tutoring Logic Recording sessions for the young and disadvantaged and also worked occasionally as a technical advisor to said youth organizations, all in the London area between 2006 and 2009. He also continued engineering and producing music occasionally for other artists. In July 2015 Shy Cookie and new artist (but well established event promoter and old friend) Ormshi went into partnership to build a studio, label and get to work on building the House & Garage Orchestra project (www.audiointuition.co.uk). This was the catalyst for Shy Cookie to return music production and DJ’ing, but not only producing music but also music videos (which he also edits) and live music sets which he also hosts as an MC. The label (Audio Intuition) officially launched in October 2015 with strong support from DJ Spoony who ‘championed’ the first release (‘Levitation’, Shy Cookie feat MC Neat). Upcoming releases on the label feature both new artists as well as those that Shy Cookie is known for working with (ie. DJ Luck, Sweetie Irie etc). Since the labels official launch and the studio opening, the third part of the project, House & Garage Orchestra has been assembled and debuted on DJ Spoony’s Rinse FM show on 12 February 2016. Along with his business partner Ormshi, Shy Cookie is currently preparing for the bands debut live show which will feature new music from the Audio Intuition as well as new guest performers (the radio premier featured Kele Le Roc performing ‘My Love’ and Nay Nay performing ‘Bodygroove’). Looking forward and the current direction for Shy Cookie is clear, to focus on producing good House and Garage music (not limited to however), and to return to DJ'ing at events. Rather than focus on trying to please the masses, in an industry that has many good artists limiting themselves by trying and do exactly that the focus is to try and make the type of music that inspired him to pursue production as a career. Though you can expect the types of tracks that helped to make artists like DJ Luck and MC Neat the established artists they are, with the new direction of working with live musicians you can also expect music that has never really been explored before in the UK-live House and Garage music performed by world class musicians. Shy Cookie is also returning to DJ’ing with a similar approach. Rather than playing only ‘safe’ sets of old school UK Garage music which he loves, it is also to play tracks that may have been forgotten or underrated. He now also plays sets of old school house ( 1980s through to the late 1990s, with a few 1970s disco tracks thrown in to the mix) and sets of Soulful House (with a few Afro and Deep House tracks in the mix). His return to DJ’ing will be made officially at the House & Garage Orchestra’s debut live event in spring 2016 (date tbc).

I Enjoy all types of music. Enjoyed the rave and club scene from 1991 - 1998 Oscars at Clacton-On-Sea Essex was my Haunt back then with some top DJs who I still listen to now and again, DJ Kenny Ken, DJ Rap, Ratty, Jumping Jack Frost, Andy C,Grooverider, DJ SS, Brockie the list goes on. Djs I listen to on hear, Soulful House - DJ Roger Miller and DJ Adrian-Van-Aalst . Mash-ups - Captun B. Jackin House - Dj Simoy & Cheeky D I got into Festivals 1999 - 2008 as I got a bit older :). I was lucky enough to see a lot of great bands Oasis ,Coldplay,The Verve, Phonics etc. My love is still Ska which I still listen to regular, If I hear a track now and like it I will buy it. I have about 100-150 Hours worth of Ska tracks so thats why I have started doing a few mixes for others like me who enjoy a bit of ska. I dont really have a favourite Era I enjoy it all, I suppose the late 70s-80s with UK bands such as Madness, Specials, Selector, The Hotknives getting me into it but there is some good ska coming from all over world.

Started off way back in 2000 with a pair of gemini xl 500II decks and Gemini PS-540i mixer ortofon concord dj cartridge's and last but not least a big box of vinyl (mainly Bassline house and speed garage and a few funky house tracks). Then around 2009 I switched to CD with a dodgy Kam set up which I didn't like lol so i opted for a conroller started with cheep and cheerful and gradually built up to my current DDJ 1000 which absolutely love, (each to their own ehh haha) Still miss my vinyl all these years later, but now I have the ddj1000. My plan is to at least get 1 vinyl deck maybe a second one a little later. Also many years ago around 2004 I started playing on my pal Ste Busby's (aka (the producer) Buzzby) radio station "Loco's FM" playing bassline house and Speed garage, and over years I've played on many other station, currently I play on React Radio Uk Sundays 2-4pm playing mainly house and dance from all eras, then again on Thursdays 6-8pm playing bassline house and Speed garage, I'd love to play in a club or organised event but it just hasn't happened as I wouldn't know where to start to get out there, who knows ehh, maybe one day, but for now I'm quite happy doing what I do, So basically I'm just a very humble bedroom DJ, which absolutely loves all kinds of dance music from the 80s to present day.

DJ RICHIE RICH 1 I have been a DJ for years now thanks to my mum and dad as they were DJ,s Mike K and Linda K and Sandy B of Barbarella Disco when they were younger. I used to go with them to the pubs and clubs of Southampton from the pub the Queens where I used to DJ, so i have grown up with music and being a DJ in my life. I have been on a pirate station called peoples choice radio station 25 years ago that's where I picked up my DJ name from but had to change it a bit because of main bad boy DJ Richie Rich. Iv been on a few other internet stations over the past 3 years in Southampton which was set up again peoples choice radio station and then dirty soundz FM all internet based. bought my 1st set of decks in 92 ... Hope some people EnJoY the mixes Ripping single songs from my sets makes no sense I mix in about 3 minutes and mix out same thing So you only hear every song playing solo for a small amount of time Thus also check the song if you want to buy it ,to make sure you buy the right one :) If your song is in one of my mixes and you don't want me to promote your song. Send me a message and i will remove the mix. I'm here to promote your songs ,not to damage you ! Trying to re-upload my missing mixes, but the upload does not start after selecting the mix for re-uploading. 109 mp3 missing that I want to fix. So working on that my dear listeners. Trying to contact a mod or admin on Telegram to see if they know how to work around this. And yeah some new mixes soon as well. :) But first some maintanance which i haven't done for years, hence the 109 missing ones. EnJoY
